Tawanda Matthews, Esq. is an attorney with more than 25 years of experience spanning litigation support, legal compliance, business operations, and conflict resolution. She later expanded into complex litigation work with Am Law 200 firms, including serving as an E-Discovery Staff Attorney at a AM 100 law firm, where she led review teams, managed multi-jurisdictional projects, and advised litigation groups on defensible and efficient discovery practices.

Tawanda’s compliance and fiduciary experience includes serving as Assistant Vice President and Legal Compliance Officer for a major trust company, where she reviewed new personal trust accounts, ensured regulatory and fiduciary compliance, and strengthened internal controls. Her operational expertise also includes designing and implementing large-scale educational programs across multiple states as a Business Development Manager.

In the healthcare and personal injury sector, she served as Business Partner and Operations Director for a multi-location chiropractic and personal injury clinic. She managed strategic operations, negotiated contracts, coordinates personal injury claims from the medical perspective, and developed partnerships with law firms, physicians, radiology groups, orthopedic practices, and hospitals. She oversaw a substantial annual budget, leads marketing and referral strategies, and maintains efficient EMR and workflow systems.

Across all roles, Tawanda’s focus remains consistent: bringing clarity and constructive problem-solving to challenging situations. As a mediator, she provides a neutral, respectful, and solution-focused process that helps parties resolve disputes privately, efficiently, and with a clear path forward. She received her Juris Doctor from William & Mary School of Law and 
Bachelor of Arts from the University of Connecticut.
