Scott Swope is a Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit Civil Mediator. Scott spent 26 years litigating civil cases. He has taken many cases to jury trials and bench trials, including breach of contract, fraudulent inducement, personal injury, medical negligence, landlord tenant, homeowner association disputes, and more.
Prior to becoming a lawyer, Scott was a Pinellas County Deputy Sheriff. He uses his training and experience in traffic homicide investigation and kinesic interrogation to help litigants reach a settlement in

Mediation Approach & Philosophy

At Swope Mediations, we believe that a great mediator should use his or her training and experience to enhance the communication between the parties so that the parties can determine for themselves what settlement, if any, is the right thing for them. We offer flat fee (half day or full day) mediations or hourly service mediations. We offer Zoom mediations throughout Florida and in-person mediations in the Tampa Bay area. There is never a charge to mediate in the conference rooms in our Palm Harbor building. NO cancellation fees NO extra fees for extra parties NO Zoom fees NO administrative fees

Fees

Hourly $350, or Flat fee $1,000 for half day, or Flat fee $2,000 for full day
