Description of Practice
I have been a certified mediator for over 15 years. I am also a Parenting Coordinator/Decision Maker, a Child and Family Investigator and I am trained as a Shared Parenting Support Coordinator. I have worked with hundreds of families to bring peace and civility to what can be a very adversarial and stressful time. I utilize a collaborative approach, guiding the parties to focus on their needs instead of their wants or who is right or wrong. My primary focus is on helping families resolve issues and maintain a civil relationship as they move towards the future, which is extremely important in family situations, especially when there are children involved.

Fees
. I conduct my mediations on Zoom. Many clients are in different locations and I find this model works well for most. The initial session fee is $3500. This includes my review of the intake forms of both parties and a 30-minute intake meeting with each party individually and the initial mediation session. We can usually reach a resolution on most issues with 1 or 2 mediation sessions. Each session is scheduled for a 3-hour block, however, if we are close to resolution on all issues, we can add 30 minutes to the initial session. If there are any outstanding issues after the first mediation session and the parties wish to meet again, additional 3-hour sessions can be scheduled and there would be an additional session fee of $750.00 for each session. I prefer to offer my services on a flat fee basis so the parties are aware up front of all of the costs and there are no surprises.
