Description of Practice
Consensus Without Court Mediation Path Silicon Valley specializes in mediating family disputes arising out of situations such as trust and estate administration, will contests, care of aging parents, divorce, and other family conflicts. Family matters are fueled by emotions. Mediation deals with both facts and emotions. Mediation is a voluntary process that all parties agree to participate in with the goal of reaching a satisfactory resolution of the dispute. In court, the judge makes the decision for you. In a court proceeding, there is a winner and a loser. Our mediation process allows the parties to design their own resolution to their dispute resulting in a solution that can benefit everyone.

Mediation Approach & Philosophy
Why Work With Us? Transparency and Truthfulness If you would like to find a swift and peaceful solution to the conflict in your family, let’s talk. Together, we will assess the situation and determine how we can help your family. When we meet, expect us to listen to you and answer your questions in an upfront, truthful and professional manner. Committed And Results Driven Being tenacious and not giving up is key. We strive to reach a full settlement of the case. We can also, work to resolve some issues of the case. If your case is already in court, we can still work with you and your lawyers to resolve specific issues. We also have the ability to help parties and their lawyers reach an agreement on how the case will proceed in court in the future. This is not just a job. We work relentlessly to provide innovative methods to help people in conflict peacefully resolve disputes. Virtual Mediation: Connecting People Wherever They Are As a reminder, virtual mediation is a process by which parties can settle their disputes online without the need for in-person appearances. Meetings are conducted by video, teleconference, or over the phone. We know for a fact, that is not uncommon for parties to reside in different places: in another county in another state and/or in another country. At MPSV, we give a chance to all parties to be part of the mediation process by working remotely with those who cannot attend in person whether they are family members, beneficiaries, lawyers, etc. Based on our experience, virtual mediations are not different from in-person mediations. In both cases, the deciding factors remain the willingness of the parties to mitigate their differences and to find a solution that can benefit all of them as well as the commitment and persistence of the mediators to help the parties reach a settlement.
